Employee Benefits

Employees at Insight Technology Solutions are our most valuable resource, so we strive to offer a comprehensive benefit plan.  The following is an overview of our employee benefits.

Insight’s medical coverage offers CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Blue Preferred, a PPO that allows employees to select any physicians and hospitals belonging to a large network, as well as an indemnity option providing benefits outside of the network.  Prescription coverage is included in the plan. The CareFirst Blue Preferred plan has an associated deductible for participants.  Insight offers a Health Reimbursement Agreement which reimburses employees for up to half of the medical expenses associated with their deductible.  Dental coverage under CareFirst Traditional Dental Plan is also provided, as well as limited Vision Care under BlueVision.  For more information, please visit the CareFirst web site. 

Retirement Plan
Insight offers a 401(k) retirement plan through American Funds Plan Premier.  An employee may contribute up to the IRS maximum limit each year.  Insight offers a 50% matching fund for employees’ 401(k) contributions up to 6 percent of eligible salary.  The maximum amount of matching funds is $3,000 per calendar year.  Employees will need to satisfy certain service requirements to become participants and receive credit for vesting in this plan.

Comprehensive Annual Leave
Full-time salaried employees accrue 15 days of Comprehensive Paid Time Off (PTO) per year.  After 5 years of service, employees accrue an additional 5 days of PTO per year, for a total of 20 days of leave.  Comprehensive leave provides paid time off for vacation, personal business and short-term illness.

Full-time salaried employees are entitled to paid client holidays.  These holidays often vary by client.  For more specific information, contact Insight’s Human Resources Department.     

Life Insurance
Life insurance coverage is provided to all full-time salaried employees through Reliance.  The amount of coverage is two times the annual salary of the employee, up to a maximum of $200,000.

Short/Long Term Disability
Short- and long-term disability coverage through Reliance provides partial income replacement while a full-time salaried employee is medically unable to work.

Direct Deposit
For the convenience of our employees, Insight offers direct deposit options for payroll.
