Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)
Since 2004, Insight has provided support to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) through the Desktop Management Initiative (DMI).  DFAS is the accounting arm of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the largest accounting and finance agency in the world, processing nearly $2 billion in payments daily, including salaries and pensions for 5.3 million active and retired military members and their dependants. The DMI program was originally designed to outsource the desktop management services and provide ongoing support.  Insight provides direct end user support of the IT infrastructure including desktop workstations, laptop computers, printers, and personal digital assistants.

In addition, Insight provides Field Operations Services, ensuring dedicated and immediate attention to client requirements.  Services include:  Desktop Support, Server Support, Configuration Management Support, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), Software Application Support, Hardware On-site Installation and Maintenance Support, Deployment, Desk Side Support, Break/Fix Warranty Dispatch Maintenance, Teleworker Support, and other related IT services specific to the DFAS environment.  Insight has received numerous commendations for the ongoing support of the DMI I and II programs CONUS and OCONUS.
