Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)

Since 2004, Insight has provided support to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) through the Desktop Management Initiative (DMI).  DFAS is the accounting arm of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the largest accounting and finance agency in the world, processing nearly $2 billion in payments daily, including salaries and pensions for 5.3 million active and retired military members and their dependants. Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement - Support Programs
For the past two years, Insight has been providing Project Management to the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE), Division of Regional Operations. Insight’s Project Manager serves the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and Director of Regional Operations for OCSE through administration and management assistance for program operations and overall support of 10 Administration for Children and Families (ACF) Regional Offices throughout the United States. Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement- Federal Offset Program
For the past ten years, Insight has partnered with SRA providing operational and program management for the Federal Offset system within the OCSE (under the CIOSP2 contract).  Under Federal oversight, Insight manages the operations of this Federal system that collects over $2.1 billion annually for past-due child support. Insight’s Operation Team oversees the daily jobs and file transmissions that keep systems at 54 states/territories and three Federal agencies in sync and working toward a common goal.  Read More »

American Red Cross

Insight has been providing IT support to the National Biomedical Computer System (NBCS) for the American Red Cross since 2001. This blood management computer system handles all aspects of blood processing for the nation’s premier blood banking organization. The National Biomedical Computer System controls the process from the time donors are scheduled to donate blood, through the donation process, the testing process and the distribution of blood components. FBI – Trilogy Virtual Case File Project

Insight provided Project Management, System Architecture and Software Development support to the Trilogy Virtual Case File Project.  Efforts included the establishment of the project software architecture framework, establishment of best practices for software development, establishment of the testing framework, high level analysis and design of requirements, database design and modeling, software development, and the enforcement of established guidelines and frameworks.  Authentication and analysis was performed to determine functionality of the Virtual Case File project.

Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)

Through our partnership with Sybase, Insight provided Systems Engineering support to the DIA, including systems administration for the management and operation of Sybase ASE and Replication Servers. Insight’s support included installing and configuring Sybase ASE and Replication Servers, applying current Sybase patches and EBF’s, development of backup procedures and plans, and providing knowledge transfer as required. Technical services included consultation on all Sybase servers at the SE RSC and within the USCENTCOM AOR.

844th Communications Squadron

The 844th Communications Squadron is a DOD agency located at the Pentagon. The mission of the 844th Communications Squadron is to provide planning and engineering services to the Headquarters United States Air Force (HAF) and other organizations and command centers within the National Capital Region as directed. Insight provided support services including the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of all systems required by the 844th Communication Squadron and its customers.
