Employee Benefit Summary

Employees at Insight Technology Solutions are our most valuable resource, so we strive to offer a comprehensive benefit plan. The following is an overview of our employee benefits.

  • Major Medical/Dental/Optical:

Insight's medical coverage offers CareFirst Blue Preferred that provides employees with health coverage through a Preferred Provider Organization of physicians and other health care practitioners, including hospitals and specialists. No referrals are needed. Benefits include preventive services such as childhood immunizations and well-woman services. Dental coverage also is included in this package through the Regional Traditional Dental Plan, as well as some Optical benefits. For more information, please visit the CareFirst web site.

  • Retirement Plan:

Upon hire, employees are eligible to participate in Insight's 401(k) retirement plan, managed through American Mutual Funds. The vesting period is 4 years and constitutes 25% vesting each year. Vesting is calculated at 50 cents on every dollar, up to 6% of salary. The maximum amount of matching funds is $3,000 per calendar year.

  • Annual Leave:

Full-time salaried employees earn 15 days of personal time off (PTO) per year. Employees may elect a one-time per anniversary year cash-out option of PTO at 125% of value.

  • Client Holidays:

Full-time salaried employees are entitled to paid client holidays.

  • Life Insurance:

Life insurance coverage is provided to all full-time salaried employees. The amount of coverage is two times the annual salary of the employee, up to a maximum of $200,000.

  • Short/Long Term Disability:

Short- and long-term disability coverage provides income replacement while a full-time salaried employee is medically unable to work.

  • Direct Deposit:

For the convenience of our employees, Insight offers direct deposit options for payroll.
