Insight pursues additional Federal opportunities to expand service.  (February 2011)

Insight successfully completes Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Technical Refresh.  (December 2010)
As partner in the Desktop Management Initiative (DMI) II with Unisys, Insight recently completed the successful Technical Refresh for over 7,500 assets at DFAS, the accounting arm of the Department of Defense (DoD).  Using lessons learned from Insight’s previous work under DMI I and II, the Technical Refresh was completed 30% faster than originally scheduled and well under budget.  The Technical Refresh was performed at 6 DFAS sites throughout the United States and earned Insight numerous accolades from our client for its tremendous success.

Insight assists CSC with successful TSA program transition to Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP)   (November, 2010)
As part of the ITIP Task Order award, Insight assisted CSC with the successful program transition from Information Technology Managed Services (ITMS) to ITIP for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).  Utilizing its extensive experience providing Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) support, Spectrum Management and Freedom Center operations under ITMS for over 7 years, Insight provided essential continuity of service during the program transition. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Awards CSC and Teaming Partner Insight contract for Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP)  (September 2010)
Insight Technology Solutions is proud to announce the award of a subcontract from CSC to support a Task Order in support of the Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP).  The task order, which falls under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) contract, has a one-year base period and four one-year options with an estimated five-year contract value of $493 million. 

“Insight is very proud to be a member of the CSC Team,” said President Gary Anderson; “we look forward to working closely with CSC to support the critical mission of the Transportation Security Administration.”  Under the terms of the Task Order agreement, CSC and teaming partner Insight will provide IT infrastructure services to support each of the TSA Office of Information Technology divisions for IT security, solutions delivery, business activities and operational effectiveness throughout the nation, including all U.S. airports.

Insight reviews its Comprehensive Benefit Package in light of Health Care Reform (August 2010)
Insight management participated in numerous regional meetings and national seminars during the spring, as the Health Care Reform bill moved through Congress and was eventually signed into law, to ensure employee benefits remained sound.  After significant review, Insight successfully negotiated its Health Care Plan to ensure continuity for employees and the effective grandfathering of existing benefits, where appropriate, in light of the changes required by Health Care Reform.  As part of our overall business operations, Insight conducts reviews of its comprehensive benefit package to ensure it remains competitive and that our employees are provided the quality benefits they deserve.

The General Services Administration (GSA) approved a modification for Insight’s GSA IT Schedule 70 contract (GS-35F-0707P) that includes 6 additional labor categories in the area of Certification and Accreditation and Help Desk support.  This modification reflects Insight’s past performance in both areas of IT solutions. General Services Administration (GSA) approves 5-year extension for Insight’s GSA IT Schedule 70 contract (GS-35F-0707P)   (October 14, 2009)
The General Services Administration (GSA) approved a 5-year extension for Insight’s GSA IT Schedule 70 contract (GS-35F-0707P) that includes 46 labor categories.  The GSA IT Schedule 70 provide a full array of services including resources and facilities management, database planning and design, systems analysis and design, network services, programming, millennium conversion services, conversion and implementation support, network services project management, data/records management, subscriptions/publications (electronic media), and other services. Insight C & A expert contributes to TSA receiving 100% score under the Federal Information Security Management (FISMA) scorecard for second year. (July 6, 2009)
The Department of Homeland Security announced the Official FY09 Federal Information Security Management (FISMA) Scorecard today, which gives the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) a perfect rating of 100% for the second year in a row. TSA scored its second A+ rating on the DHS FISMA Scorecard – the Department’s tool named for the FISMA requirements used to measure information system security of every Federal agency. Read More »

Insight receives Dun & Bradstreet Performance Rating of 94% by Federal Clients (June 25, 2009)

GSA awards Unisys and teaming partner Insight the second Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Desktop Management Initiative (DFAS) II task order    (May 24, 2009)
The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded the second Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Desktop Management Initiative (DMI) II task order to Unisys and teaming partner Insight Technology. DFAS is the accounting arm of the Department of Defense (DoD) and the largest accounting and finance agency in the world, processing nearly $2 billion in payments daily, including salaries and pensions for 5.3 million active and retired military members and their dependants.

Insight awarded contract re-bid to provide Support Services for Office of Child Support Enforcement through Department of Health and Human Services  (May 17, 2009)
The Department of Health and Human Services awarded Insight Technology Solution a GSA IT Schedule 70 contract to continue providing Support Services for the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE), with the Administration for Children and Families (ACF).  This one-year contract with 4 option years provides program management and operational support to the OCSE and 10 regional ACF offices throughout the United States.  Insight has been providing Project Management support to the Commissioner, Deputy Commission and Director of Regional Operations for OCSE since May of 2008.  This support includes State Plan tracking for the OCSE Model Tribal Tracking system and IT support for ACF information services.
