“Outstanding Contractor Award” for 2009 from Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families (ACF) (October 29, 2009)
Insight is pleased to announce our recognition as Outstanding Contractor for 2009 by the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families. This award recognizes Insight’s special contribution as a partner with ACF to support the agency’s strategic goals, key priorities and overall mission.  This is the second time Insight has been chosen for this prestigious award and recognized for its outstanding service.

Working on today’s top Federal initiative, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Insight’s Sheila Drake has been recognized for developing and maintaining a matrix designed to capture the States’ use of ARRA funds.  This high level Presidential initiative provides significant funding to State governments.  Through Sheila’s efforts, OCSE is better able to share the successes of what States have been able to do with the funding.  In essence, Sheila’s efforts help OCSE “tell its story” and show the profound impact ARRA has had on State programs.

Sheila serves as Senior Project Manager for the Office of Child Support Enforcement’s (OCSE) Division of Regional Operations and supports OCSE’s Director of Regional Operations and the Deputy Commissioner in the day-to-day operations and management of OCSE’s 10 Regional Offices throughout the Nation.  Her outstanding analytical skills in managing the OCSE’s Coordination Council and her effective coordination of policies and procedures provides consistency and increased communication between Regional and Central OCSE offices to most effectively support the National Child Support Enforcement Strategic Plan for FY2005 – 2009.  These and other individual achievements by Sheila Drake garnered this prominent Federal government recognition as Outstanding Contractor of the Year.
