Insight continues its long record of service and support to the USCG through the award of our latest prime contract providing Engineering Project Management and Logistics Support to the Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL).
The MECPL provides Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) engineering and logistical support for the sustainment of Coast Guard WMSM, WMEC and WIX cutters and is preparing for the fleet transition of the new OPC assets. The product line additionally provides engineering guidance and support to assist with the development and promulgation of maintenance, repair and configuration standards to ensure that the fleet remains capable of performing a broad spectrum of missions, from law enforcement to search and rescue, across the U.S. and international waters.
The contract is the successor to work currently being performed by Insight. Through engineering, project management, configuration, and logistics support services, Insight will continue to assist with the planning, supporting and execution of major systems acquisitions and life cycle projects. We’re thrilled to continue our strong record of successful support enabling these assets to continue in their diverse missions!
